LOCATION The Johnston Horse Camp is located at the base of the Los Padres National Forest, in the beautiful Cuyama Valley, 60 miles inland from the Central Coast off of Highway 166. The Ranch is just a few hours from Los Angeles, CA., between Bakersfield and Santa Maria. Cuyama is a small town in Santa Barbara's Outback. The Chumash Indians gave "Cuyama" its name, which translates to "valley of the shells". |
